On registration, sign-up and dues forms on Business Forward's website, we may ask for your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, and other information. We may also ask who, if anyone, referred you to the site so that we can credit those who are organizing support for Business Forward.

We will use your e-mail address to provide you news and information about Business Forward or about relevant initiatives.  We may also use your zip code and state to send you e-mail messages about upcoming events, news or activities in your area or pertinent to your area. 

On occasion, we may also use the information that you provide online to contact you for other purposes or to solicit you for membership drives. We may share your contact information with successor organizations and other like-minded organizations, and they may contact you. When you pay your membership dues, we may also exchange your information with successor organizations and other like-minded organizations, and they may solicit you for donations. However, we will not sell or exchange your credit card information to any other third party under any circumstances.

Should you wish to "opt-out" from these actions, you may contact us at info@drivingbusinessforward.org, and we will promptly remove your contact information from the appropriate distribution list, as requested.  In addition, emails from us will contain information on how to unsubscribe, as explained below.

From time to time, we may find it necessary to use information provided by you to administer the website and correct technical problems.

When you pay membership dues online

We will report your information to government authorities to the extent required by law.

 

When you sign one of our petitions or letters

Although Business Forward does not lobby, it may, from time to time, publicly release letters or petitions that do not constitute lobbying activity.  When you sign one of our petitions or letters, we treat your name, city, state, and any comments as public information. We may also make comments available to the press and public online, identifying only your city and state.

  

A cookie is a tiny text file that is stored on your computer by Business Forward. We use cookies to tailor your experience on our site according to the preferences you have specified. When you visit Business Forward, we only access the cookie file that we have stored on your computer. We cannot and do not access any information stored in a cookie by other websites. IP Addresses and Log File Data
